Estate Planning Counsel
A proud Texas native, Amanda Carter brings a wealth of legal experience and a strong commitment to client service to our team. Originally from the Houston area, she earned her J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law before being admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
Amanda began her career as an associate attorney in Lubbock, working closely with clients on a broad range of matters including family law, child custody, and cases involving the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. She transitioned into her true passion for representing clients in estate management matters. Amanda brings significant expertise in both contested and uncontested guardianship of incapacitated individuals , contested and uncontested probate matters, and estate planning.
As a full-time power wheelchair user, Amanda brings a unique and empathetic perspective to her practice, often shaping her counsel with the needs of both clients with, and without, disabilities in mind.
Outside the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her dogs, diving into psychological mystery thrillers, and cheering on her beloved Texas Tech Red Raiders at any and all sporting events.
